Our Process
Step one
Send us details of your project and we will provide you with a Quotation for the Structural Works.
Project details may be in the form of Architectural Plans prepared by your Building Designer or could simply be hand sketches prepared by yourself.
Step two
Upon review and acceptance of our Quotation, re-issue a full set of Architectural Plans (preferably in AutoCad format) and other necessary information to complete your Structure Plans, including:
Geotechnical (Site Classification) Report
Sewer Peg-out (if necessary)
Any other relevant information
Also a discussion with Owner/Builder to ensure the design intent is fully understood
Step three
If a Geotechnical (site classification) Report is not available, Civplex will arrange the Report from one of our trusted Geotechnical Engineering consultants.
Step four
Preparation of the relevant Structural Plans e.g. for a new two-story Residential development our Structural Plans will include details for the following items:-
Ground Raft/Waffle Slab (including Piers)
Structural Steel/Timber Beams
Floor Joist Layout
Brick Articulation Joint Details & Locations
Relevant Construction Notes
Step five
The Structural Design will need to be reviewed with cost savings considered during this process.
Step six
Civplex now issues the Structural Plans to the Client.
Step seven
During Construction we will carry out numerous inspections to make sure that the Structural Elements are being built as designed by our office. An Inspection Certificate will be included for these inspections.
